I love the cork and depth changes are a breeze. Easy to see and now I see they have yellow I will try that cause probably even easier to see. Caught my limit many times on it and never snagged it lost it yet. I did notice if u go deeper then 3’ it will tangle up sometimes but 5 Stars from me . Can’t wait to see what else this company comes up with! Decals and shirts and hats with logos would be sweet! Proud to use these corks!
I have used many different corks in the past. when I found the Versamax Bolt you can't beat it.I love the versatility of changing from shallow to deep in meer seconds. I purchased 4 bolt corks a and have been using them exclusively since i bought them. I like to use leader versus tying directly to my line and I love the fact that I can easily adjust my leader length very quickly. I also reallu like the action and sound of the Bolt. There are very few tangles or cork fouling incidents with these corks, which means I'm fishing more and fixing issues less.
Inshore fish—trout, flounder, reds—love moving water. When drift fishing, you cover channels, holes , oyster bars and mud flats. I keep my Versamax Original in my shirt pocket when fishing soft plastics deep. As I approach a sand bar edge or oyster bar, I whip out my VersaMax and wrap it on my line to a depth just above the shallow oysters and keep my bait exactly where the fish are and out of the shells. Takes literally seconds, no tangling, no hassle digging through a tackle bag. As the drift goes by the bar, I adjust for depth on the other side or take the VersaMax off with just a few whips and I 'm continually in the strike zone. Let me see you do THAT with any other popping cork!
Durable product. Easy to change leader length,and you don't have to lose any leader length when you came lure.
I purchased a few bolt to try. I like the fact could change depth without retiring everything. I wasn’t disappointed with 4 Redfish over 27 inches and 30 Specks. The wire never bent and worked as advertised. I put about 5 foot of line. I’m very happy so far.
The VersaMaxx very easy to use and set up. Would strongly recommend everyone to try.
Used it for first time yesterday. Was able to easily change depths of bait without any downtime! Only came unwound once over the course of the day.
Took it out the day after i got it. Surf was flat and the sound it makes when popping it is awesome! Caught few trout and two reds. I was worried bout the yellow plastic line holder breaking on big fish but it held up great on 26" red, so approved in my book! Great job guys!! Will order more for sure! Thanks again
